What to include in a company profile

A company profile is often the first thing a client, partner or procurement team reads about your business. It should be clear, credible and easy to scan.

The sections that matter

  • About us: who you are, when you started and what you stand for.
  • Services or products: what you offer, in plain language and grouped sensibly.
  • Projects and clients: proof that you have done this before. Use real work.
  • Team and credentials: certifications, licences, awards and key people.
  • Why choose you: two or three clear reasons, not a long list of adjectives.
  • Contact details: phone, email, address and website on the last page.

Length and design

A short profile of around 6 pages is enough for many businesses. Larger companies and tenders may need 16 to 32 pages. Whatever the length, use your brand colours and fonts, good photos, and plenty of white space.

Print and digital

Keep a print-ready version and a lightweight PDF for email. Some clients also like an online page-flip version they can open on any device.
